Life can feel overwhelming when you're trying to figure out your next step. Whether you're working toward a personal goal, building confidence, developing new skills, or navigating a major life transition, having the right support can make all the difference.
My name is Nick Kemp, I founded Steady Aim Life Coaching to help people move forward with purpose, confidence, and clarity.
For the last decade, I've worked in the mental health and psychiatric rehab field (certified psych rehab practitioner), helping individuals build coping skills, strengthen independence, improve communication, and work toward meaningful personal goals. Throughout that experience, I've seen firsthand that growth happens when people are given opportunities to learn, practice, and succeed in supportive environments.
My coaching approach is strengths-based, practical, and focused on action. I believe that lasting change comes from developing skills, building confidence through experience, and learning to navigate challenges one step at a time.
I also have a passion for experiential learning and collaborative problem-solving. Through guided coaching conversations and innovative roleplay-based experiences, I help clients explore new perspectives, practice real-world skills, and discover strengths they may not have realized they already possess.
At Steady Aim Life Coaching, my goal isn't to tell you what direction to take—it's to help you find your direction and move forward with confidence.
I look forward to being part of your journey.
My first experience with TTRPGs was back in 2008, as a college freshman. I was invited to play a Star Wars RPG game, and quickly became hooked. It was only a matter of time before I would discover the world of Dungeons and Dragons. As a self-professed nerd who loves anything high fantasy, and a mental health worker, you can imagine my excitement when I came upon the book Tabletop Roleplaying Therapy by Megan A. Connell. I approached my program director about the concept and got to work planning the first campaign of Psych Rehab D&D.
Fast-forward to today and we’ve been through a number of successful campaigns with clients working on social skills, assertiveness, self-advocacy, confidence, creative problem solving, and even money management.
